A few weeks back, you might remember that I called for a wordpress plugin and that Realivent came through with an awesome lead generating solution for real estate blogs. I added it to Tisza’s blog (Route66 Living) and soon other bloggers showed interest in the plug-in. Many thanks to the team at Realivent for releasing the plug-in to everyone!
The widget adds 2 forms to your WordPress blog. One form is for instant house values retrieved from the Zillow API.
Users can enter an address and receive a Zestimate, comparables, and regional Zindex charts along with the home being highlighted on a pretty Google map. The other form is a CMA request form. Both forms can be turned off, so you can only display the Zillow
form, or only display the agent form.
This is a great addition to a real estate agent’s blog. It gives you a great opportunity to point out the difference between a Zestimate value and a CMA — and to offer a free CMA to prospective sellers. If a seller is interested in getting a detailed estimate, they can quickly fill out a form to get in touch with you. Zestimate values are a great conversation starter between agents and their clients — and by using this widget, that relationship can now be initiated on your blog.
You can download the plug-in HERE. Installation and configuration details can be found on the Realivent Blog. If you’re a developer and have ideas for integrating Zillow data, check out our API.
