Apple’s 3G-enabled iPad goes on sale tomorrow, and while that always-on connection may not make a huge difference in some of our other favorite apps, 3G is a big deal for Zillow on iPad.
We built Zillow on iPad for an intimate, photo-driven sit-back-and-shop experience, where anyone could browse neighborhoods, or step inside homes, all with the touch of a finger. And the feedback has been phenomenal:
Even in these first few weeks, the iPad usage is already equivalent to 12% of our iPhone usage (which, considering more than 1 million Zillow iPhone App downloads, is a pretty large feat). And we expect that share to keep growing with the launch of the iPad 3G. Now you can take Zillow on iPad with you wherever you go, whether it’s driving around exploring new neighborhoods, checking out a listing, or touring open houses.
