Last week, 20 members of the Zillow team put down their phones, shut their laptops and headed to Guest Chef Night at FareStart to serve dinner for a cause.
FareStart is a Seattle culinary job training and placement program for homeless and disadvantaged individuals. Over the past 20 years, FareStart has provided opportunities for nearly 6,000 people to transform their lives, while also serving more than 5 million meals to disadvantaged men, women and children.
FareStart patrons enjoyed a three-course meal from Emmer&Rye’s Seth Caswell, and 100 percent of the proceeds and gratuities went back to fund FareStart programs. Thank you to the generous Zillow employees and local businesses, such as Lucia and Luc, who supported this evening of service!
