At Zillow Group, we envision a world where everyone, regardless of economic circumstance, has access to the resources that can help them find a place to call home. Yet every day in the U.S., a child without a home is lost to the streets.
That’s why this holiday season, The Home Project is making a $100,000 donation on behalf of Zillow Group employees to Covenant House, a national nonprofit organization that has been helping homeless and trafficked teenagers, young adults, and single moms with kids get shelter and support across the country for more than 40 years.
Covenant House provides shelter and so much more. They help thousands of homeless and youth victims of trafficking make the challenging transition to self-sufficiency, protecting and advocating for one of the most vulnerable populations.
The organization also works to raise awareness in innovative and thoughtful ways. Have you ever slept outside on the street for a night? Covenant House invites anyone to experience what it’s like, while raising awareness and support for homeless youth through an inspired program called Sleep Out America (#SleepOutAmerica) where for one night, you can make a difference for homeless youth in your area by raising funds and sleeping outside in solidarity.
We are excited to partner with Covenant House and look forward to deepening our partnership in 2018.
