Today’s Wiki Wednesday Feature: Real Estate Blogging
Real estate blogging is exploding. I know many people reading this will now revert to a “DUH, uh yeeaaaahhh…” tone of a 16-year-old, but just hear me out for a minute: There is rapid innovation going on in the space. For example, Active Rain’s new portal in development (Localism) and MyHouseKey.org are both trying to draw consumers by aggregating locally focused blog content from real estate professionals. If you are a real estate professional aiming to use technology to increase business, blogging is certainly an enticing opportunity.
We are choosing to highlight the Real Estate Blogging page in hopes of helping real estate professionals find an unbiased resource center for those interested in blogging. The page gives a little background on the “blogosphere” and how it has grown from online diaries to a real estate resource over the past several years. There are 6 primary benefits listed as to what real estate agents can gain by blogging (feel free to add further benefits). Additionally, the page gives several resources to check out if you’re interested in networking with some real estate folks already blogging.
We know not every aspect of the topic is covered, but if you are interested in blogging and this doesn’t provide you all the information that you need, what other things would you be interested in learning more about?
