We celebrated our usual Halloween dress-up day last Friday and who should appear walking the hallways of Zillow? None other than Uncle Sam, who was proclaiming,
“I am a government bailout. I have something for the Fat Cats, the Big Wigs, for Wall Street, for the Banks, for insurance companies, for car manufacturers. But sorry, nothing for you.”
(If you can’t recognize him, it’s COO Spencer Rascoff).
Anyway, the economy was front ‘n center for the dress-up, with a couple of Zillowites going as out-of-work mortgage investors (below, left, senior accountant Jack Egan and business analyst Brian Filppu):
Of course, there was Frankenstein, a much-loved classic. Operations manager Tim Roberts is under all of that green makeup:
Below, CTO Dave Beitel went as himself, which is a guy who accidentally ran into a tree during a 5K race a few years ago (notice the branch sticking out of his head?) and things got a little political with content manager Diane Tuman dressed as the “Crazy McCain Campaign Lady.”
Release program manager Jennifer Farrell went as a flamingo (notice she’s standing on one leg) and technician HP Canwell was perfect as the Mad Hatter.
The Spice Girls never go out of style, starring, from left to right: PR coordinator Alison Paoli, PR manager Katie Curnutte, UX developer Daniel Stockman (yeah, you read that right), PR coordinator Whitney Tyner, and VP of Communications Amy Bohutinsky.
And finally, a group photo:
