With an 88 percent employee satisfaction rating, Zillow has been named to PayScale’s Heroes List – part of the company’s Most Satisfying Organizations to Work For Award! We are excited to receive this award, and others like it, as it’s based on anonymous employee feedback and is a direct result of the ongoing efforts to create an environment where people can do their best work. After all, our employees are our greatest asset.
We were awarded high marks in company outlook, manager relationship and communication, and employee appreciation. We “turn on the lights” – one of our core values – and host monthly Q&A sessions with our CEO Spencer Rascoff, providing employees a chance to ask questions about whatever is on their mind. We recently created a “Leadership Playbook” to help managers become great leaders and empower their teams. We encourage managers to have weekly check-in meetings with their direct reports and to ask how they can help them succeed. We also celebrate our accomplishments with special office events like monthly lunches and host social events for special days like Chinese New Year, Halloween, and Oktoberfest.
