If you follow Zillow closely, you’ve probably figured out that we love anything and everything that helps get the Zillow brand in front of more people interest in real estate. Our syndication strategy has been to make it as easy as possible for anyone to add our data to their Web site. In addition to the Zillow API, which is geared towards larger partners with their own Web development teams, the other primary way we syndicate data is by enabling others to embed our real estate and mortgage widgets on their blog or Web site. We recently added three more real estate widgets to our growing list (all three widgets are available in two sizes – 300×280 or 160×370):
Here are a few examples of sites already utilizing the new widgets:
- Wallyhood.org – A local blog focused on the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle
- Evergreen Park Realty – A Point2 site that has added a few widgets. Among them is the most recent sales widget showing recent sales in Evergreen Park, IL
- Melissa Mehrotra of HomeChoice Properties — This is Melissa’s real estate Web site in Phoenix
- ParkForestCommunity.org – A site devoted to the Park Forest community in Northern Dallas have used our widgets as content for the real estate section of their site
Whether you are a real estate agent wanting recent sale data on your site, real estate enthusiast who wants to showcase the most expensive homes in your area, or a local blog that wants to provide some fresh real estate listing content — we now have a viable solution for you.
