Today, we are excited to unveil the latest TV spot in Zillow’s “Find Your Way Home” advertising campaign, which launched nationwide last year.
Our newest spot, called “What If,” is a little different from our previous ads. The first three illustrate how Zillow helps families use technology to collaborate, shop for, and ultimately find not just a house — but a place for their lives to happen. Our latest spot takes the storyline one step further, emphasizing how Zillow not only helps people find the right home, but also how Zillow’s new mortgage pre-approval feature can help home shoppers get a pre-approval letter in a matter of minutes. The spot shows a young couple who have outgrown their apartment and are using Zillow to shop for a home and to get pre-approved for a mortgage right from their smartphone.
We chose to highlight this feature in our new ad because getting pre-approved is such an important, and often daunting, part of the home buying process. In competitive markets, where inventory is tight, getting pre-approved can give a home shopper a leg up against the competition. Pre-approval shows real estate agents and sellers that you are motivated, credit-worthy and able to act fast. We’re the only place where home shoppers can secure pre-approval from their desktop, smartphone or tablet, from start to finish in minutes – in the comforts of your current residence or at the doorstep of your just-discovered perfect home.
