Exciting news for all of you parents out there! Zillow just launched a new schools search tool that allows home shoppers to search by boundaries and quality of schools — elementary through high school, public and private — in their desired area. Zillow is the first and only home shopping resource where shoppers can combine school types all in one search.
The schools search tool was designed for families who want to search for a home they can afford based on the quality of the schools their children might attend. The typical family would use the tool by selecting:
- One or more levels (elementary, middle, high)
- The school type (public, private, charter)
- The minimum acceptable GreatSchools rating, and
- Budget and home requirements. The results would only yield schools that meet all of the search criteria while eliminating all other homes from view.
