This March, Zillow offered one lucky winner $10,000 to spruce up their home decor in the “Home Design Sweepstakes.” Homeowners, renters and real estate enthusiasts across the country tweeted @Zillow to share what they’d do if they won the prize.

Grand prize winner revealed
Today we are excited to announce the big winner is Gena Hart from Fairmont, WV!
Gena (pictured left) heard about the sweepstakes while shopping for her new home on Zillow. She was determined to win, coming back week after week to answer bonus trivia questions, gaining some important real estate knowledge as a result. “I thought I knew the mortgage process really well, but I was able to learn a lot.”
When first told she was the official winner, Gena was skeptical. Now she can’t wait to surprise her husband with the big news. “My husband still doesn’t even know yet. When the $10,000 arrives, I’m going to just say, ‘Oh, by the way, this came in the mail.’ He will be shocked and thrilled!”
Gena intends to use the prize money to spruce up the small farm she recently found through Zillow. “There’s a turn-of-the-century barn that needs to have the roof repaired. It’s a relief we’ll be able to get this done before the weather turns. We may get some heritage goats and chickens as well.”
