At some late, late hour into the night, someone burning the midnight oil at their computer became the 20-thousandth homeowner to post a Make Me Move price. Whether they’re testing the waters pre-market or simply dreaming, these folks have named their price for the world to see. Here’s one Tampa woman’s Make Me Move story. And you may have read the recent feature in Fortune Magazine, which included the author’s own experience with Make Me Move.
In addition to these two examples, we’ve heard a few interesting anecdotes about how people are using the feature. One of our employees heard from a gal at her gym, who heard from her Realtor, who heard from her nephew that he had received a serious offer on his Make Me Move price and wanted help pursuing it. (Did you follow that? It gets better…) Turns out the nephew (the homeowner) is the neighbor of another Zillow employee. Small world. The feature has only been live about two months, so we’re waiting with baited breath to hear from more of you, particularly if you’ve sold your home (since Zillow simply facilitates the conversation, we rely on people circling back in order to learn of the outcome).
Got any Make Me Move stories to share? We’d love to hear from you!
